Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Easy to switch

I recently switched banks to Barclays mainly because of the easy to use app. This app keeps me up to date with my finances and any pending transactions are easy to see so I always have an accurate running total. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Couldn't ask for better

For me, Barclays was always the bank I was going to end up a customer of. My parents both banked with them, and spoke very highly of them and their products. In all the years I've been a customer, I have never had any issue that wasn't resolved quickly and professionally, with minimal disruption to the service. I'm happy to be a Barclays customer. Packaged Bank Account and Blue Rewards Could be Better

I am happier with using Bank of Scotland as my main bank account, but as I’ve had an account with Barclays since I was 7 years old and can personalise my debit card with my own photo, I’m loathe to close it and will no doubt return to using Barclays more at some point in the future.
