I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Love the Barclays Mobile Banking app - perfect for managing money, paying tradespeople and club subscriptions. I can see balances and pending transactions and transfer money between accounts in less than 20 seconds. Transferring between current and savings accounts is instantaneous and therefore like having an interest bearing current account. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018
