Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Good bank account

Everything has been sorted the easiest way

There was a problem with Barclays as I contacted customer support by phone regarding change my personal account details. Operators were not able to access my account without telephone password. I made a complaint by email and very soon, maybe in 30 min someone from Barclays contacted me by phone to help me sort out this problem. Everything has been done extremely easy way with apologising and compensation from Barclays. I am a Barclays' customer since 2009 I think and I am absolutely satisfied with its service. Mobile app absolute rubbish

Constant problems with the mobile app not connecting. It says sorry try again later every time. Today asked me to download an updated version from Google Play which I did - wiped out all my details - had to start all over again, losing all payees I pay money to. Re-entered everything which took ages, same message try again later. Rubbish app. Go to another bank. Reviewed on: 9th April 2018
