Unbeatable saving account

Since I opened a bank account with Bath, the customer service was excellent and fast at responding to any queries I had ! Just amazing ! Since then I have opened another saving account with them as their interest is phenomenal in comparison to other banks with the same sort of accounts! It was quick and easy to open and then customer service was so polite! I will continue to bank with them and recommend to people I know ! Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Info re BBS Trust Accounts

Very positive! Two assistants on separate chats were very helpful and concrete in info given and which actually answered the questions asked! If they were not sure, they checked with a manager and emailed response later within a short period of time. Very good service - thank you! Reviewed on: 29th March 2023

New phone APP

I love the new phone app. it shows all my savings accounts on one page. For each account it shows the balance and interest rate. I can now access the information instantly using Face ID. Its a vast improvement on the online service which I found very time consuming to access. It also illustrates that a smaller Society can do things better than a large multi- national bank as well as being in my view a safer option for my savings.. Reviewed on: 28th March 2023

Not suitable if you do not live in Bath.

Their products and interest rates are very good, but only if you live in Bath. Reviewed on: 23rd March 2023

Reply from Bath Building Society I think you mean that new accounts are restricted. Otherwise all of our members enjoy our good rates wherever they live. For those accounts that are restricted to new business they are typically available to existing loyal members and anyone who lives, works or studies in Bath. But not all of our accounts are restricted and we remove the restrictions when we can for example our Lifetime ISA was recently available nationally but because of the demand we had to apply restrictions to maintain service levels.
