Fantastic, personal service

Great savings

I have been with building society for couple of years and it has honestly been the best way for me to save money that I can’t describe. I usually just deposit money every month into savings and it’s easy to access whenever I need it. Reviewed on: 8th March 2022

Not impressed

Not impressed by the building society as you can only open an account if you live in the immediate area. I am being discriminated because I do not live in the catchment area Reviewed on: 8th March 2022

Reply from Bath Building Society David, we don't like having to put these restrictions in place but whenever we have more funds than we are able to lend, we can either reduce our rates to make us less attractive or maintain them with restrictions on who can access them. Our preference is to protect our existing members and restrict selected accounts to those who work, live or study in Bath. We will remove these restrictions as soon as we are able to do so. Bumper Bath Building Society

Have saved with the BBS for a number of years being attracted by their good rates of interest highlighted in the Mail On Sunday at the time.These have stayed competitive over the last few years with other products issued to enhance the savings experience. BBS have always been active in improving interest rates promptly where possible. Reviewed on: 8th March 2022
