Good rates but restrictions on opening them I.e you have to live near Bath or already have an account with them . Reviewed on: 26th March 2021

Reply from Bath Building Society Good Morning, Unfortunately we had to put the restrictions on the opening of new accounts as we were experiencing a high volume of new accounts. As we are a small local Building Society we wanted to still be able to offer accounts to local Bath people. We are very sorry that we were unable to help you at this time. A "PROPER" BUILDING SOCIETY

Bath BS use the balanced approach and trustworthiness once available in the building societies that have converted. It's mutual - the mortgage and savings rates reflect demand, so they are always going to be there. I like them especially because they are there at the end of a phone, especially when I first went online. Reviewed on: 24th March 2021

Old fashioned excellent Customer Service

I've been with the Bath Building Society for a number of years, and I've always had excellent Customer Service and help either on email, which is mostly of the time, and on the phone as required, as I live some distance away from any branch. I'd happily recommend. Reviewed on: 23rd March 2021
