Customer service is excellent!

My company was a business customer with Bath Building Society. We initially became customers under difficult (external) circumstances, and although the staff may not have been best placed to help us initially, they listened and helped us to the best of their knowledge, in an area they wouldn't normally deal with. Our relationship manager Emma Seymour could not do enough to help us, was always professional, courteous, and a delight to work with, all of our queries were quickly and efficiently dealt with, and she would follow up with phone calls, to add that personal touch- which I feel is very important, it gave us great customer confidence knowing we had a trustworthy and helpful contact to return to. Useful local building society

We have been members of the Bath BS for many years and it has served us well . Reasonable interest rates for savers, lower expenses than larger societies. Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Difficult Years

There was a time I would have filled in all the gold stars ! I have always stuck with BBS because I believed in their interest in the local community, However I have been affected and disappointed in the "disposal" of the letting agency. I have never been one to chase the highest interest % for savings, believing I was playing a small part in helping local economy and maybe local first time buyers; Bath is very expensive. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic I have registered for on line access in case I needed funds, had a few teething problems but all in the name of security and help was at hand, thank you. Not sure if I will be leaving all the funds in the Instant Access ISA at new lower rate. Sorry! Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

New Customer

I recently switched to Bath Building Society as my original mortgage was with Northern Rock. It was then passed over to a recoveries agency which felt like they had no customer relation skills. Being with Bath Building Society is a breath of fresh air, even during these uncertain times whenever I have called or emailed my query/question/advice gets rapidly answered.
