Flexible and fair

A good home for easy access savings, with the benefit of attached current account. Reviewed on: 28th May 2017

Interest rates OK - customer service appalling

Not a bad bank for variety of accounts - watch that low interest and high charges don't make it uneconomical, Don't expect to feel cared for or appreciated - you are most definitely not Probably one of the worst (if not THE worst ) for customer service. such a shame - could have been a brilliant bank Reviewed on: 25th May 2017

Charges

I have a 123 account and I am continuously charged alot of money in fee's for having an overdraft, as well as account maintenance fee's. The account type does not save me money at all. Reviewed on: 17th May 2017

Still one of the best rates around

Even with the reduction in the interest rate offered, it's still one of the best available. This account is still good as you get cash back on various things including utilities - free money when you have to pay your bills every month anyway. The monthly fee is always covered by cashback too. Reviewed on: 7th May 2017

Change Is As Good As A Rest

Wish they hadn't changed the T&Cs on this account and upped the monthly fee for the honour of using your own account. If it wasn't for having our mortgage with them, whereby it makes it worth our while to bank the credits that go with this arrangement, I think I 'd have started to look around for another deal. Banks have had enough bad press over the years, there's got to be profit in there for them still, without infuriating their customers - AGAIN! Reviewed on: 3rd May 2017

So good I am staying put

Great account, shame about the reduced interest

I love the cashback element of this account, which makes it cover the £5 monthly fee. However, it used to be a great place to store my savings, until the interest rate halved from 3% to 1.5%. This together with the cashback makes it worth the fee, but if it were to reduce by much more, I think I'd have to look elsewhere. Reviewed on: 13th April 2017

Best Current Account on the Market

Savings and Cash back. Easy to run the account not demanding requirements. Also you get a list of additional benefits for being a 123 customer. Such as cheaper insurances and higher savings rates. Staff are always brilliant. Reviewed on: 9th April 2017

Good rate of interest compared to others

Moved current account from bank which I had banked with for 40+ years due to very low interest. Although the interest has halved from 3% it is still competitive Reviewed on: 4th April 2017
