Great Banking Provider

Santander is a great bank that offers customers great benefits for banking with them. I have banked with them for years I don't see me changing ever. Reviewed on: 4th April 2017

Still competitive

Even though Santander have increased their monthly account fee and reduced the cash back and interest payable on the account, it is still one of the most competitive current accounts out there, with really excellent customer service options in branch, online and by telephone. Earning cash back and interest through a current account

Just by paying my bills via direct debits, I earn cash back. Basically by doing what I have always done and not having to put in any extra effort. I earn 1.50% AER on my full balance as it's below £20,000, which is much better than the average 0.33%, and I haven't done anything different except switching my current account from Lloyds to Santander. Granted, Santander charge £5 each month however this is nothing compared to the cash back and interest benefits, never mind the difference in customer service! I would recommend this account to anybody, it's easy to switch and I only have good things to say about my experiences with Santander. Reviewed on: 31st March 2017

Use all of the extra rewards

It is very easy to earn a few plus pounds (we are paying mortgage from this account) and also get high interest on your saving in a very flexible way (you can access to your money any time). Plus there are always extra cashback options week after week. Reviewed on: 31st March 2017

Cashback on utilities plus longer opening hours

Santander is open for much longer hours than other banks and offers cashback on utilities and interest for money you put in there, up to 3000. They also offer a great online banking service too. Reviewed on: 30th March 2017

Multiple accounts

We already had a joint Santander 123 current account making a decent amount of interest and cashbacks, but we then realised that I could take out another account on my own, making even more interest! Reviewed on: 30th March 2017

Junior 123 Account

A great trust account for kids under 16. Fantastic tax free interest with a £2000 limit. See the money build on each monthly statement. Reviewed on: 29th March 2017
