The only valuable bank account

Even with the recent introduction of a £5 fee this account still offers a reasonable return on savings Reviewed on: 7th February 2017

Was great, now the account fee has gone up though it is not so beneficial.

The Santander 123 account was great to begin with and we got quite a bit of cash back each month. The monthly fee has now gone up though which is quite disappointing. Reviewed on: 6th February 2017

It was great til they changed the 123 Account incentives

I realize good deals can't go on for ever, but the changes to the cashback/rewards on this account have been massive and offputting. Reviewed on: 6th February 2017

Excellent interest rates, easy to set up and make payments , cash back on dds

The Santander is industry leading interest rates for their current account 123. However, interest rates aside I think it's the best current account I have ever had. Website is brilliant and so easy to use. I never have any need to contact than as everything is done right first time. This and cash back on direct debits make it a top. Good for some accounts but not all

Great account, but becoming less so

Was very happy when I changed my current account to Santander 123. Although it is still a reasonable deal the reduction in interest paid on credit balances and increase in the monthly account fee mean that it will sooon cease to be attractive to me and I may look for an alternative which is a shame. Best current account for interest and cashback

I switched to Santander because of it's 3% interest rate. Unfortunately this then got cut but it is still the best available. The app is very user friendly and branch staff helpful. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2017
