Terrible customer service, unhelpful, rude, difficult to get hold of/rip off banking service both credit cards and banking

Every experience I've had with this bank has been hard work from trying to get back online to access credit card facilities to being charged for nothing without being informed! Trying to get hold of customer service to discuss your bank account infuriatingly takes an age only to be told when you get through that they can't help you or they don't know how to. They need to stop pushing the onus onto their customers to do the hard work and start doing it themselves. I would never use these again if they were the only bank left standing! One of the Best Current Accounts out There !

I've had my Santander 123 Account for several years now and enjoy the convenience and rewards it offers. As a Select Customer I have my own Relationship Manager at my local branch too, so I don't just feel like a number. I also log onto Online Banking every week to view my credit card spending and statements I particularly trust the 'secure messages' section in the 'Help and Contact Us' tab and when I go overseas I can let Santander know I will be spending abroad so I feel safe and the bank will know where me and my card is ! Straight forward - Never had a problem

Good current account

It's a shame that they've cut the interest rate on this account but it's still the best option out there. Good cash back options as well mean that I'll be staying put with Santander 1-2-3 Reviewed on: 12th February 2017
