WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER BEEN WITH!!!!

Worst company I have ever been with! Went with Driect debit option, spent £416 as a deposit but after a few weeks got a cheaper quote by another company so decided to cancel. Called up and was on hold for almost an hour which Is ridiculous as im sure if I was a new customer the waiting time would be no longer than a few mins! Anyway.. when speaking to cancellations it was the worst customer service Ive ever had! Had me on hold while they check my account for another 15 mins! Finally coming to cancel now.. I thought having the cover for no longer than 3 weeks I'd be getting some of that deposit back.. but no! I'm now told I actually owe them a further £406!!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing! That's a total of £826 for 3 weeks cover!!!! That's most peoples full year cover! Put a complaint in over these fees and got a response that there is nothing they can do, it's all in the terms of the business I have agreed with. This policy was taken online and it's a tick box you have to click to take the policy, and I'm very sure everyone just ticks without reading and they are aware this happenes but still refused to give any money back to me. AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING

I HAVE BEEN GETTING EMAILS FROM 5TH SAYING I HAVE RENEWED EVEN THOUGH IT STATES IT WONT RENEW UNTIL 11TH AS ACTUAL DATE OF POLICY IS 15TH!!!! I CANNOT ACCESS ANY DOCUMENTS OFF THE WEBSITE AND RANG AND WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER 20 MINS AND REQUESTED RENEWAL DOCUMENTS - STILL HAVENT BEEN SENT. TERRIBLE Reviewed on: 10th July 2017

tried to cancel on phone twice for about 20 minutes no body answered

Easy Peary car insurance

I used the u switch web site and came upon Brightside insurance company. Had no problems getting my new quote and saved a few pounds into the bargain. Can't be bad! Reviewed on: 7th July 2017

Do not bother

We looked at this for insurance but cancelled it as we tried to contact them on all three numbers and no answer after 10 mins on each number. If we had an accident we would have had no help Reviewed on: 6th July 2017

Could do (much) better .....

Initial contact good; later, no response from 3 e-mails / 5 phone calls to advertised numbers; finally, a contact number via FCA website. Convoluted on line account setting-up process ... Slow process cf other on line companies' procedures; disappointing generally. Reviewed on: 6th July 2017
