By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I love the fact that I only pay for the miles I do and am not subsidising road warriors who drive tens of thousands of miles a year. The set up is easy peasy and By Miles communication is excellent. Also, to my sheer delight, for once my premium did not automatically go up 9for no apparent reason) on renewal of my annual insurance. i recall the days when you got a discount for being a loayl customer but no increase is almost a s good. Hopefully i won'y have to spend a day every year on comparison websites if By Miles keeps treating me fairly and well. Reviewed on: 30th July 2020

A Novel approach to car insurance

I was looking for a car insurance that was flexible for my second car, which was only going to be used weekends for shows car meets etc, & felt that standard companies didnt give me that flexibility. By Miles only charge you when you use that car (plus a low annual fee) so it was perfect for my needs & piece of mind when I do use my 2nd car. Reviewed on: 30th July 2020
