By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best insurance by far.

So glad I came across ByMiles car insurance. Since I started work as a Healthcare Technician and bring my van home every night the amount of miles I do in my car greatly reduced with not having to use it to commute my place of work. So just having to pay for the miles you actually drive really does make sense for me. Well organised, well set up, always someone friendly to speak to if needed. Great value and very simple

I've been with By Miles a few months now and it's been great. The set up was quick and easy, and the customer service has been excellent. The app is easy to use and makes it so simple to track how much you're driving and spending. Just the product I need to give flexibility and good value for money. I did have a few set up problems but the live chat was excellent. The BEST INNOVATIVE Insurance today!

I have four cars of which one is my prized Weekend Car. I only drive it for pleasure and this means much less miles than any of my other cars. It used to cost me an 'arm and a leg' to insure this car but not using it much which was a huge waste of money. Then I came across By Miles! Cost effective

I have to pay only for the miles which I travelled and it’s easy to track my travel routes and By Miles app will show the cost of each journey. Recently a small shop in Coventry Rd , Birmingham alleged that I parked in their car park more than 2 hours and sent me a fine, By miles helped me to prove the time of entry and exit to car park and supported me to challenge the fine and fine was withdrawn. There is a daily and yearly cap on maximum miles By miles charge. I recommend By miles to other customers. Reviewed on: 30th July 2020

Bymiles ticked all the boxes

I was delighted when our car insurance came up for renewal to discover the By Miles alternative, for us it ticked all the boxes. Doing much less mileage now in retirement plus spending more time abroad nothing could be simpler than clicking in the tracker, paying a low basic premium plus a small charge for the mileage you do.
