By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Great value insurance

I've also left a review on TrustPilot. To sum up, this is my 4th year of car insurance, the first with ByMiles which was recommended to me by a friend and family member. I drive around 3K miles a year and my insurance quotes were higher and higher each year, especially considering the low mileage. This is why I love ByMiles- you pay for what you use, there are other useful app features such as predicting how much a journey might cost you which comes in handy. My friend drives 10k miles a year- so it really can suit people at different ranges of mileage. The customer service is quick and accessible, I had a few glitches the first time I used the tracker which were sorted out quickly. Have highly recommended to friends, family and colleagues. Car Insurance that makes so much Sense

Where have u been all my life By Miles lol. This has got to be the fairest Car Insurance company in the World, because u only pay for what u use. Simple, yet Brilliant. So while my Car is sitting on my Drive, I'm not paying any extra money unlike every other Insurance company. So it's really a "No Brainer" Hopefully they'll eventually allow Commercial use too so that I can insure my other vehicle with them too. Using the By Miles app is a breeze as it shows u everywhere u went and what the total mileage was and how much the journey was too. It's actually like having a Tracker in your car, in case it ever got stolen, it would be really easy to locate, however it doesn't track how fast or slow u are going or whether u drive in the Day or at Night which is really good. So all I have to say is that this Company is "By Miles" better than any other Insurance Company and it's a Pleasure to be insured by them. DG Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
