By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Most practical car insurance Company

This is the 1st year I have been with By miles and nearly eight months now. They are by far the best car insurance company I have ever been with. We do very low mileage annually so it is very practical to our driving lifestyle unlike other car insurance companies who charge a lot. The name itself is clear, insurance premium By Miles. So far I have no problems with them. Their app is simple but great. It is very clear how many miles we've done in each and every travel from day one. I highly recommend By miles to anyone doing low mileage. No doubt, they are worth the Insurance Choice awards winner. Best of Luck By Miles. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Ive been with By Miles for a couple years now and I honestly prefer the way they do business, pay a premium and then pay per mile, as i dont drive much, i end up saving a lot of money. Im also not a fan of call centres but with by miles messaging service, i can leave a message with a question or query and they get back to me, a lot simpler and cuts out the awkwardness of call centres. 10 out of 10 from me Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

By Miles have made it easier for us. No more paying premium prices anymore. With By Miles now you can save a lot of money by only paying for the distance you travel. Every other Industry is now moving towards this concept for example Mobile data services. It was only time that this caught on with Car Insuarance and here we are. What's not to like!! Genius concept, I love it

Brilliant concept - only pay for the miles you drive. Such a fair and cost effective way to insure my car. I'm not subsidising other high mileage drivers. The app is really easy to use. You can track your mileage costs daily and the tracker also acts as an additional.security measure. Genius! Plus I saved £240 on my renewal so what's not to like about By Miles. Go on, check it out.
