By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Finally a no nonsense no frills pay as you go insurance option!

Fantastic value for money. Only paying for the miles I clock up. Easily managed via exceptionally quick notifications from their app which shows post codes, distance travelled and times. The app can also check the health status of your vehicle. Very neat! I estimate over £140 saving per year based on the next cheapest insurance quote at the time. Great value insurance

Since taking out a Buy miles policy I have enjoyed a sensible premium on my reduced annual milage post retirement. Subsequently I have now insured my wife’s car and have advised my daughter in law to take out a Buy Miles policy.
