Competitive price with some fun features

Easy to set up the black box on a Ford Focus. The app gives you some fun statistics and location tracker etc. Given that I'm not sur ehow much driving I will be doing this year the commercials should work out well also. By Miles seemed to be worth trying as my annual mileage had greatly reduced since retirement. The insurance is determined by the number of miles driven, measured by a wee box plugged in to the OBD2 port. The base premium, for the car to be parked outside the house, seemed reasonable and the per mile cost seemed fair at 4p mile unless I exceeded 150 miles in a day when the maximum charge would be £6. So I received a nicely packaged black box, plugged it into the port and forgot about it. Shortly after each drive my phone app showed me how much the journey had cost. It also gave me a map of where I had been and the times - very useful several days or even months later if I needed to check what I had been doing on a certaind day. A couple of days before it is due I am advised of the monthly total to be taken from my account. It's all very easy andseamless, as an insurance product it works and works well. When I contacted the office regarding using my car for NHS voluntary work I received a friendly and helpful email within a couple of hours. That is the only time I have contacted the company but they have just contacted me regarding renewal. The terms and costs of the renewal were clearly stated and both the base premium and the per mile charge had been reduced. The claim that the price I was offered was lowest from them directly was borne out when I did some comparison shopping for insurance. This is obviously not the product for everyone.But it both suits me, saves me money and makes me think before making a journey = is it necessary, could I walk instead, can I combine it with anything else? For others who drive low annual mileages this is an ideal product. I activelyrecommend it to friends in a similar situation to myself.And the black box works as an OBD2 diagnostic tool too!
