By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I don't do a lot of milage over the year so BY Miles suits me fine. I pay for the milage I do. During lock-down I hardly went out therefore I paid very little. I would recommend By Miles to anyone who doesn't do a lot of miles, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You are treated like a friend instead of a customer. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

They are by far the cheapest in terms of my car insurance. I used to pay £750+ per year for car insurance, despite not driving much. By miles' pay per mile option has cut my intial upfront premium in half. However I have no comments regarding claims process or any other customer service related issue as I have never made a claim with them. My review is attributed to cost only. Half the price of most insurers excellent service, I know where my car is when not being used and can check for faults using the app. And of course my car is trackable should it be stolen. You get a lot for your money and peace of mind too. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
