By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Love tracking my miles!

Simply Flawless

Pay as you go car insurance is the way to go. It’s at least 30% cheaper than what I used to pay + even though I’ve got 5 years no claims, what I was paying was increasing year-on-year. It is a game changer. Easy to set up and manage via the app. I won’t be going back to the traditional method anytime soon! Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Best car insurance for my needs by miles!!!

I cannot say one bad thing about By Miles, here is a quick list of some of my favourite things: 1. Amazing app interface - very clear, concise and easy to use with some great additional features like code checker and find my car. 2. You can see how much you are due to pay in real time, plus congestion zone notifications. Everything is very transparent and what you see is what you pay (unlike some other companies I’ve used). 3. Very responsive customer service. Lovely team on the live chat. 4. Absolutely amazing cover as standard- business use, windscreen, keys plus more - this coupled with their very reasonable costs makes this package a no brainer! This is the first time in all my years of driving that I don’t feel I’m being robbed by a car insurance company, I feel like I’m getting a very good value for money service! Of course, the real test will come if I ever need to claim or when my renewal comes up in December…but I do have some faith that By Miles won’t let me down ;) Well done guys, keep up the good work! Best car insurance ever

I cannot recommend By Miles too highly and I have told lots of friends about them. I am elderly and don’t do high mileage now - about 5,000 a year. By Miles has saved me at least half of the average insurance quotes I received for my Mitsubishi hybrid. The support I have received from their customer service staff has also been efficient, friendly and helpful. By Miles fully deserves this award. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

I admit to start with I was sceptical after all this was a new concept but once I had taken the plunge it was full speed ahead (so to speak). The beauty of By Miles is the ability to save even more money on your insurance by recommending them to others which gives you oodles of free miles if they take out a policy. What happens at renewal I can hear you say, insurance companies always 'bump up' the premium in your second year, nope, although it went up slightly it was relatively painless and my free miles from last year were carried over too, bonus!!!!
