By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best decision I’ve made switching to By Miles, this is my second year with them now and I wish I had done it sooner. I save so much money compared to other providers as I do very few miles in my car each month. Great mobile app too and so easy to use and keep track of journeys and monthly payments. Hopefully, the title says it all. I am always happy to recommend By Miles, because of their innovative way of helping keep motor insurance costs down for those with a low annual mileage. Their service is also helpful to those on limited budgets, since there is a good element of "pay as you go" built in. All this, and you get a free tracker device so you can review your journeys.
