By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Excellent value for money

I have been with by miles for a few years now and it's great if you don't drive many miles you only pay for the Mile's you drive after a your initial payment at the beginning much cheaper than all the other companies I checked on comparison websites Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

I have been driving around 12 years and always hated the renewal process or updating addresses etc but By Miles have the best customer service, the staff are helpful and efficient and the renewal prices are fair and honest. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

Great way to encourage people to drive less

My move to By Miles was very smooth and it was easy to install the thing in my car that tracks my mileage. I like that i save money if I drive less as this is good for reducing emissions and helping the environment. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

The early insurance process is so easy and uncomplicated. I get a monthly report on how much my monthly insurance has cost me, and I am always pleased. A very definite change from my previous insurer. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

Love their quirky & funny emails with helpful information / advice inside. App is fantastic for monitoring your mileage. Prices are good too, I've been with them for 2 years running now, and no complaints.

Love their quirky & funny emails with helpful information / advice inside. With the Highway code changes they informed me via email otherwise I probably wouldn't have known. They always use puns which make it easy reading :) App is fantastic for monitoring your mileage. It tells you how much you've spent in any 1 month so you can see which months you did more or less driving. App is good for updating details quickly too. Prices are good too, I've been with them for 2 years running now, and no complaints. You pay a lump sum for the year which is much less than average, then a monthly cost throughout the year depending on the amount of miles driven. You can add everything up for the following year's comparison checks so you know if you're getting a good deal before switching. :) Reviewed on: 9th August 2022
