By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I've been with Bymiles for over 2 years now and have had nothing but an excellent service from them. The insurance premiums are very fair and based on actual mileage, so you pay for what you use (just like energy bills and water bills so why couldn't this be the case with all insurance companies?!). I've had some queries over the years which have been dealt with promptly, efficiently and to my satisfaction. Plus with the legal expenses and additional features at no extra cost, I'd be a fool not to use Bymiles. Have already recommended to friends and family and can see Bymiles being my preferred car insurance provider for years to come!! Thanks guys, you're genuinely doing a 5* job. I rarely use my car it's just for weekends most of the time I'm driving a van for work, instead of paying out a full insurance and paying over the odds for somthing I barely used made no sence when I heard about by miles and the quote I received of them made me happy and was 100% satisfied with it , they were really helpful and polite to me and easy to talk to , Its really simple to set up and I think it's a great insurer to go with I'm really happy and would recommend them to anyone , just try it and you'll 100% agree Reviewed on: 6th August 2021

My favourite car insurance company

I do very little driving these days but I still want to keep the choice of driving if required. By Miles offered me the perfect way to insure my car. A very low premium once a year and a monthly payment depending on the mileage I do. It has never been more than £2.50 pm so I am delighted with this method of insurance. If your mileage is low - call By Miles - its perfect, especially for older people like me who are 'little and often' drivers! Enjoy the experience* Reviewed on: 6th August 2021

best move i've made for years

Saw details on gadget show /Harry Wallop & followed it up online then swapped when insurance was due for renewal. Has worked great since then, will stay with them if the cost stays fair. Reviewed on: 6th August 2021
