By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

When I got my new car, I had over the TOP quotes by other companies which made me think oh no, what have I done. But then I came across ByMiles! Quoted an annual cost 75% cheaper than what would have been elsewhere, along with pennies per mile made! My insurance is so LOW every month, I'm still gobsmacked after two years of being with them. All in all I look at around £400 for my insurance per year. For a BMW. Incredible. Compared to the £1400 I was quoted! So straight forward, easy app to use and keep an eye on my miles, handy numbers for any emergencies etc, definitely a cut above the rest! I've recommended to so many people too. Fantastic, what a great idea only paying car insurance when you are actually using it,low mileage means low insurance costs,but if you do happen to do a long journey the mileage is capped, it's great, a win win for me. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
