By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Modern and affordable!

By Miles have surpassed any previous motor insurance I have had, and that’s after 35 years of driving. Their smart approach is modern, I can track my car wherever it is, I cannot forget where I’ve parked it again! AND at a fraction of the price of its competitors. I have made a claim which was made effortless and my car was repaired so quickly I was stunned! I recommend By Miles to all my friends/family and clients and am a number 1 fan. If you are looking for car insurance that charges by mile and if you do not do too many miles each month, then By Miles is the Car Insurance for you. I have been with By miles insurance for around 6 months now and I couldn’t be happier! Car insurance is one of my biggest annual expenses so I was thrilled to find a company that offered a pay as you go service. I have saved around £200 this year and that is a big saving! Most simple car insurance policy ever!

Since joining By Miles, I have found the policy to be straight forward, simple to understand and affordable. Any issues or queries are dealt with immediately and effectively and you know exactly what you’re spending each month and over the year! It’s a hassle free policy with nothing to do when it’s time for renewal. You get the best rate and the fixed amount as well as the pence per mile go down in cost. Great value and modern take on car insurance

By Miles have brought car insurance into the 21st century by using a mileage tracker and easy to use app to track your daily mileage and the cost. It's ridiculous to pay car insurance on an average annual mileage when we've been through lockdowns and travel restrictions so being able to pay for the miles you've driven is perfect! The tracker was easy to install and the app gives clear details of journeys completed so you can always keep on top of your bills. And because the monthly bills are based on your driving habits you can save lots of money if you're now working from home for example.
