By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Where have ByMiles been all my driving life?

ByMiles is the best insurance I’ve had by far. No more worrying about renewal quotes each year and heavy annual prices when I only drive short distances and sometimes leave my car in the drive for weeks. This is the perfect solution - pay for what you actually drive. The 150 miles cut off is fab too - gives you a clear cut price for those rare long journeys! Happier by miles now

Earlier this year I purchased a New to Me baby Peugeot. It took me some 16 weeks to find a competitive insurer. Should have contacted By Miles much sooner because it was they who covered my Rover 75 (and considerably cheaper than classic insurance as such). Although I've been with a classic insurer for my Saab for most of this century, I wouldn't bet against By Miles quoting a better deal for its policy renewal later. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
