By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Especially In these days you never know if we are going to be in lockdown or not. By miles is so good because it gives you that comfort that should we be locked up again you won’t be worrying about paying for insurance you’re not using. I have been using bymiles for more almost 18 months now, what I can say about it is that its customer service is fantastic, yet its tracker is not the best, miscalculates many times, specially in short distances it sometimes overcharges. but all in all I might recommend it to a friend who does not use their car too much. Much better (and cheaper) way to insure your car. No arguing with your insurer at renewal time to reduce premium. Had a problem with the tracker, but quickly replaced. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
