By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

My annual car insurance quote had increased by over £100 with my then provider. Having run a few price comparisons the best deal "by miles" was with By Miles. The online process was very straight forward and the App is brilliant. It takes away the work! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Quick to setup, easy to keep track of your monthly spend on the app. I have not had an accident so cannot comment on their response to that. However, the cover appears to cover adequately in the case of an accident. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I was in a rush and arranged my renewal, very last minute on a Sunday afternoon and booked my Bymiles policy just as my old policy with another insurance ended - in the mad rush I didn't see anything about no claims and panicked, believing I had lost them as didn't declare when booking my policy. Customer service were really quick at reassuring me that they're protected as standard! And the dongle arrived very quick and has been easy to use and set up. Absolutely no complaints so far, easy to use app and website, and the low cost is ideal for me now I'm home based most of the time. A few friends policies are coming up for Renewal and just about to recommend ByMiles to them too. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
