By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Life changing car insurance

After having an accident that wasn’t my fault I was unable to afford car insurance I was absolutely devastated and was in the process of selling my car. I kept thinking how would I get by without a car. Then I came across by miles. I was able to afford the deposit and then pay the monthly payments as this went on how many miles I used and with 2 young children as a single parent I knew I wouldn’t be going far. I was so happy and knew I could continue to drive. Cannot thank y miles enough for this brilliant idea and how it saved me from losing my car and not being able to drive. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
