By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Great concept and exceptional value!

I hardly used my car due to Covid, my previous insurance company was charging around £100 a month for a car sitting in a secure garage not moving. By Miles was a breathe of fresh air, thank goodness my insurance needed renewing, saving me over £1000 already Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

A great idea and overall a great experience !

So easy to setup, customer services were both reachable and helpful. The mobile app is great, I use to see the journeys and also best / efficient routes. Also the split of billing for an initial amount and monthly on mileage works loads better for me. overall very satisfied. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Amazing for a first time driver!

Using this company means that I can to afford to insure my car! As a first time driver it's incredibly expensive to insure even a small vehicle, but using ByMiles allows me to essentially pay what I want. It's super cheap to drive around and if things are tight, then I don't drive and pay nothing! Additionally, you can check things on the app like your total miles, costs, journey maps and even speed! Another really cool feature you can do on the app is complete a health check of the vehicle from the comfort of your own home! I would recommend this company to anyone! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Much different was then your typical insurance, no over charging, especially the direct debit part of the payment. Sometimes we can't do the milage we say we do due to change of work or holiday for the year, so having a tracker for your milage is handy. Also the app is easy to use and great for the health check which I have been using. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
