By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

So at first when they sent me the device it didn't fit my car well and wouldn't work, but instead of being a pain they very quickly sent me out another version and paused my start date to make sure I didn't get any fees or anything and have been helpful every step of the way and have a very good chat service where you get help if needed but overall I don't normally have issues. The best insurance for my lifestyle! I very rarely drive but hate not having a car to get around if needs be. The prices are premiums never work out as worth it for me but with this insurance I have been able to pay per mile. It means I pay around £8 a month which you can't argue with. Thanks bymiles!
