By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Never had an issue

Never known an insurer that gave a cheaper renewal. It’s easy to use. I can track my miles an any issues are sorted straight away. 10/10 can’t say fairer than that. Why would I go anywhere else. I get great great cover for much better value for money Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

After being quoted a ridiculous amount by my previous insurance. I decided to move to by miles who offered me a cheaper quote with better perks too such as no claims protection and also the added benefit of making changes without any admin fees. So far so good. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Low mileage, low price

I do very few mile since my employer embraced working from home on a permanent basis. So paying by the mile is much better, it's just a pity we can't pay car tax the same way! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
