By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I like guessing what the mileage is I’ve used each month - before I look at my statement. I’m always surprised at how low my bills come in at each month. I’m way off the mark with my guesses. By Miles are an absolute joy to utilise. I’ve had so many insurers over the years and am happily settling down with them now. Since joining By Miles for the first time this year, I have found it firstly very easy to use and track my current mileage and costs. The app is fun to use and helps you keep costs down and monitor your monthly spending. I have had by miles insurance for two years running and by far has been the best experience! Fairly priced insurance is a rare commodity but by miles have achieved that!
