By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I don't drive my car very often so this Insurance is great for. As I am working away Monday to Friday so my car is parked in Depot whole week and I drive my other car on weekend. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

All the cover without the price tag

We insure a vehicle which is used for fundraising for our local baby unit with by miles. With no fundraising events we couldnt afford to insure this 2nd vehicle without any no claims (as used for another car) Bymiles made it possible to insure it without the worry of cost and we could use the vehicle when needed. We had a small issue with the black box but customer services through online chat were amazing. The renewal quote has knocked our socks off as its so reasonable. Was easy to set up, made amazing saving, able to track journey and see how much each journey is costing, very helpful car diagnostic makes it possible to see if there are anything wrong with car which was very useful recently when I had issue and garage couldn't find problem Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
