By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The perfect policy for me

It just makes so much sense! I only pay for the times that my car is actually incurring risk, and as a low mileage driver my policy is half the cost of a traditional one. Just easy isn’t it. Compared to any other insurance sign-up process or management, ByMiles is by far the most simple. Everything can be done via the app (or the website), and its well made, just works, tracking device is plug-and-play. I changed cars not long ago, and that was easy too. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

With pandemic everything changed including how much we drive . Why then pay for mileage not used ? I switched to bymiles and like the name suggest have only paid for miles driven . Love it as it’s so cost effective ! Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
