By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I'm forecasted to pay 25% of the cheapest quote equivalent on the comparison sites. This kind of innovation is obviously a great thing for younger (?) drivers - im 31, have just bought my first house, have a poor credit rating, and have had my licence for 14 years with a 7 year NCD. Yet still 75% cheaper. I expect to stay with these guys for the remainder of my driving life. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

I've been very pleased with the service offered by By Miles. It is easy to understand the T&Cs and track mileage and payments. It has also encouraged me to use my car less to save on a few miles and walk to the shops instead. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021
