By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I tend to stay with the same provider at renewal as it saves time and convenience. However when my renewal process rocketed I spent ages looking online for something cheaper. By Miles was still fairly new when I signed up but had a modern innovative approach in the industry , so took a risk and have been happy ever since. My quotes have consistently been competitive and the tracking technology gives me transparency on the mileage and cost. I had a minor issue and this was swiftly resolved by the agents. Did a 4 hour drive up north and was pleasantly surprised that the mileage is capped at 150 so it doesn't cost me anymore. The only negative is I didn't get any free miles on signing up! The best ever insurance I ever subscribe to. If you do very little mileage is the one for you. Any changes you need to make once subscribe to is easily done The app is great to track your miles The best ever refer a freind scheme on the market. The cheapest By Miles gave me The cheapest Insurance quote.. my car is has been parked up for most of last year as I now work from home so this made the most economical choice!! Perfect insurance for low mileage!

With the current climate of reduced travel converting to a low mileage insurance package has been a dream with By Miles. Not only is it low cost, but its simple and easy to track. They provide clear communications and offer a couple of free changes to you policy. The only drawback, and it's incredibly minor, is that yours not 3rd Party insured to drive another's car without permission - but that's such a rare occurance I was willing to forego it for the other benefits.
