By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By miles is by far the best insurance company you pay for what you use and as customer that’s what you want no hidden cost everything is as they say you can track your car with their app and keep an eye on your mileage, one of the most convenient apps customer service is friendly no hours of waiting on the phone, friendly staff would highly recommend them. 5* Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

Low mileage - save £££'s

To have a low premium is great. Then to add a small charge per mile driven on top of that is perfect. I drive, I pay, I don't drive, I don't pay. this is so much better. I only have to pay my "mileage" at the end of the month. This is so much better than paying a fixed premium or a premium upfront and have money back/off your renewal when it has been established how many miles you have driven. For low mileage drivers like myself, this is great news, especially as I am retired, and I see this as having the best of both worlds - save money and a low premium. This may not be for you but I would certainly recommend you visit ByMiles and see the benefits, especially if you are a low, low-medium mileage user. Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

This insurance company will make others quake in their boots. Totally user friendly app to help you keep track of your miles and how much your insurance will cost that month. The paperwork and set up was so easy to follow and in such a short time I was up to speed and ready to go!
