By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

enjoy the app and messenger chat feature. wouldn't of got without the £55 credit offer though as there's not many miles/month I could have done before I'd of been better off with standard insurance. Reviewed on: 13th September 2020

Great insurance if you're working from home

I've always been very keen on this pay-per-mile insurance since I was doing a low mileage every year, but with the lockdown and work-from-home conditions imposed this year I've been saving even more. It's a shame that we can't do the same with the car tax! Saves me hundred on insurance a year, and since the start of the lockdown I've been paying about £2 a month. Reviewed on: 13th September 2020

brilliant idea.

I did 1500 miles last year, nd my monthly bill comes to about £2.30. This is such a brilliant idea to pay for what you use. The BBC need to do this with the television licence. The saemenet comes through in email at the end of the month, and the money is taken there and then out of your account. THE BEST, for low mileage users, Reviewed on: 13th September 2020

Great service at an amazing premium

This last 6 months have been extremely disruptive at best. One aspect that has benefited from this disruption had been our car insurance. Without realising it at the time, when we opted to go pay as you go, we stumbled upon a mega means of saving a significant amount of money due, simply, to the fact we weren't able to drive as often it as far and as a result these reductions also reduced the cost of owning our car - very much welcomed. The pricing model is perfect for those of us who rarely do significant distances on a daily, monthly or yearly basis. Having access to my policy and it's details within an app 24/7 has been great and I can't recommend them more. Reviewed on: 12th September 2020
