By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

At last, insurance that benefits small mileage drivers!

As a pensioner, I've been driving less and less each year, but paying insurance based upon the car rather than the driver. Now with By Miles, I've got insurance that that does not unfairly discriminate smaller than average mileage. Why didn't someone come up with this years ago - before Corvid 19 and Extinction Awareness made it even more sensible policy! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Why pay for something you don’t use? By Miles is the fairest approach to car insurance I have seen by openly offering to only charge for when my car is in use. Great car insurance at affordable cost

I chose this insurance company for my car insurance because I can choose to limit my miles travelled and therefore keep my costs low. Although I've never had to make a claim, I have found By Miles to be simple, easy to use and cost effective than other polices I've used in the past.
