By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best insurance I've had!

Very friendly and keep you updated with everything going on. Pay one off fee for a years parking then pay by miles you use. Im single mother of 3 and also look after my nan. I was paying £118 a month but with by miles i never pay over £25 as i dont travel far. App is easy to use and you can keep track of how much you will have to pay through the month. Also doubles up as a tracker so if car gets stolen it can be found easily! Very happy with this insurance and wouldnt go anywhere else, definitely deserves the award!! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Clear explanations, cost effective, great service

On my second year with By Miles, all the interaction I have had with them has been clear and well explained, even from having to remove my clocking device to have my car repaired, to the very minimal increase in my base rate before renewing when I took this up directly with them. This sort of insurance may not work for everyone, but it has certainly been very cost effective for me, with great service provided. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Best deal

After getting a quote from my previous insurance company I decided to look around. By Miles came up as by far the cheapest I thought there must be a catch. So far it’s been brilliant, I cycle to work most of the time now so haven’t been using my car as much. It’s saved me over half what I would’ve been paying for my previous insurance.
