A Great Everyday Banki Account with a Few Limitations

My current Chase account has been a really positive experience overall, mainly because the app is excellent and very easy to use. In the past, they also offered quite good interest rates on savings accounts. One of the best features is the 1% cashback paid as real money, which is something not many UK banks provide at the moment. Small transfers usually go through without any issues, and their customer support is very strong - the chat service is fast, helpful, and responsive, and I’ve been very satisfied with it. Another big advantage is that Chase offers certain features that are simply not available with many other banking apps in the UK, which definitely makes the bank stand out. However, there are some drawbacks. For example, it can be difficult to make larger purchases, such as spending around £2,000 on family plane tickets or booking holidays. In many cases, the card account gets blocked quickly, and then you cannot continue using it. The only way to unblock it is by calling Chase, but phone calls are inconvenient at nighttime, thus the call itself can take at least 15 minutes. Because of this, it often becomes necessary to use another bank for bigger payments. Reviewed on: 13th February 2026

Easiest Bank to Use

Customer Service is great.

Customer Service is great. Never on hold for long and don't have endless options to choose before you get through to an actual person. App easy to use and set up on new devices. Cashback is a great perk, round up works well. Savings interest rate was good but now I'm not a new customer it isn't so good. I think they should review loyalty. Reviewed on: 13th February 2026
