At first I was a little reluctant to sign up to Chip as it claimed to help you save without even realising and I just didn’t quite believe that could be the case. However, with the attractive interest rate for an easy access account I decided to give it a go and it’s all I go on about now to my friends and family who want to save money. I love Chip

I’ve been a Chip customer for about 5 years now. I loved the concept of automatic saving (which now all the banks do - but Chip was a pioneer!) They also get us as much interest as they can with crowd saving. It makes sense to pool our money to get better rates. The app is innovative and very millennial (unlike me!) I got involved with Chip early on and never looked back! It’s helped me to save (just under 3k per year) via the auto save feature, which simply would never have happened if I were saving manually. Before chip I couldn’t save at all, always thinking I didn’t have the money to put aside. I saw chip advertised online, it sounded just what I needed. At first I wasn’t sure because of my balance of my bank as I didn’t want to lose too much money per week to make me go in the red. But I realised that it would only take what you can afford and also control how often. Chip has really changed my saving habits. Reviewed on: 1st March 2022
