Useful app for stress free saving

The best thing about Chip is the auto save feature, which saves a little bit of money every week so you don’t need to think about saving. As someone with a lot of anxiety, it reduces my stress levels not having to worry about saving enough. I like that you can set a limit to prevent autosaves when your bank account is under a certain amount because again, I don’t need to worry about going overdrawn due to chip. However, the autosave feature now costs £1.50 a month, so if you’re low income, you probably won’t save enough to justify the cost, which I feel excludes a lot of people who could benefit from autosaves. Simple and effective

Easy to connect to your bank and retain full control over your level of saving. Also the fact you can get access to what is effectively the best interest rate in the UK is a bonus! Reviewed on: 10th March 2021

I've saved money

The AI savings has made a huge difference to my saving habits - I am confident the system will save what it can, and 'almost' passively my savings have hugely increased. Well worth it. Reviewed on: 10th March 2021

Great app but not free

Shame about the monthly fees with this app. To get the account which pays 1.25% interest you have to use ‘auto-save’ which incurs a monthly fee. Id rather not use the auto-save function and save the fee. Reviewed on: 10th March 2021

Unrivalled interest rates

I found this account incredibly easy to set up and for my savings (£2,000) there were very little accounts offering any interest. Chip is by far the highest. Reviewed on: 10th March 2021

Helped me save for the first time in my life!

I’ve always wanted to save but I was never very good at it; Chip has changed this for me. The small amounts (that I don’t even miss) have gradually built up and seeing this grow has changed my mindset with money.
