A number of options available to save, although some involve a fee. Given that Chip currently can pay 1.25%, I am happy with the fee. App is easy to use for both manual and autosaves. Reviewed on: 19th January 2021

Chip plus 1 - Best rate out there

I’m delighted that I am earning 1.25% on my money which is far better than any other instant access rate I can find! I have told many people about it and referred someone else so they can get 1.25% too. The app is super easy to use and automatic saves are great. Reviewed on: 19th January 2021

Pandemic life saver

This app has helped me save when I most needed, even before the pandemic. By doing automatic savings and keeping a great track record of communications and bonus, new advantages, etc, it really helped me save to pay by debts and save for a brighter future. Why would you ever use a current account?

It’s always bemused me how banks can make record profits and yet keep their interest rates at about zero. Thankfully Chip has the customer at heart and continues to deliver the best available rate. I’ve been guilty of keeping money in my current account doing nothing (I.e. losing money with inflation!). Now I can earn interest while it’s sitting there, and save for the things I know I want.
