Great newcomer to the savings market… hadn’t heard of them then did a little research and confirmed they are monitored by the FSA; got an account up and running with the app - super easy, great interface and ace savings rates. My new go-to for savings! Reviewed on: 14th February 2024

Very good but saving rates could be beaten by multip...

Very good but saving rates could be beaten by multiple competitors. Chip wants you to believe they are the best with their strong advertising and marketing but if you take a proper look around, you can have better rates with similar saving accounts including cash isa. So that is why I cant recommend Chip as the number one to go to. Will encourage people to look around and will recommend some competitors too. Reviewed on: 14th February 2024

My initial view of CHIP

Although a little frustrating to "speak" to an individual, online/email interactions usually clear up any queries in a reasonably timely fashion. Interest rates could do with being a little more elevated but are not too adverse. The draw account is not clear enough regarding need to lodge completely fresh "real" funds as opposed to bonus. Really professional bank.

Really professional bank. I’ve had money in and out for years now and it has been a life saver in times of need. Great rate of return too. Makes much more money than my current and savings account on the high street. Reviewed on: 14th February 2024
