Review of the Chip, Savings App:

No idea what they are doing.

Chip seems to have lost its way massively. A company originally to help low earners begin their savings journey by ‘chipping in’ small amounts, now is seemingly desperate to appeal to people with huge assets, people who would have very little need to move to this company that communicates poorly, doesn’t bother to tell you when their interest rates go down, and is desperate for you to pay each month for no real advantage. I stuck with chip for far too long, a good bit of sunk-cost fallacy there, but when I finally had the chance to take a proper look at their competitors, the choice was simple. Stay with a company that has no interest in keeping me as a customer, or move elsewhere and actually make my money work. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2025

Great platform for experienced and beginners

I’ve been using chip for a while now though I don’t use the investing side as I invest on a different platform, it’s super easy to use and funds and paid in quickly. Also the prize space and transparent interest rate is perfect for even people just beginning in saving! Reviewed on: 28th March 2025
