No brainer

Simple and easy to use and a great way to build up a nest; have recommended to friends, family and colleagues. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Disgusting

This company will use their terms of service and policy against you and remove you unfairly. When you’ve done nothing wrong and they use excuses to get rid of you. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Not transparent or honest, feel taken advantage of

Chip has not earned my trust. It only wants customers who have more than £10k to save, and their APP stealthily takes money from my bank account which I don't want it to, and charges me for doing it! It has a good rate of easy access interest, but putting money in and taking money out is hardly EASY with so many hoops to go through, It also needs access to all my bank account and transaction data which I don't need to give to my other easy access accounts. It doesn't give me a sort code or account number to use so I am not in control. and their customer services is non-existent I have to use their APP messaging service (WHICH IS NOT CHAT!) and wait at least 3 days for an answer. Clearly I'm not the type of customer that Chip wants and I don't think I am asking for anything unreasonable as a customer. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Easiest Banking App Ever!

Open access banking makes transfers easy

A bit wobbly at first since chip wants access to you bank details transactions and balance thru true layer open banking. No phone contact but fairly prompt email response 9-5, mon-fri. App shows credit almost instantly except on weekends Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Easy access to great rates!

Chip is really easy to use & makes saving seem fun! It's great to have a bank that offers rates close to the BoE base when interest rates are so high. It's also great that if I need to access my money instantly I can do that without being penalised. Good job Chip! Reviewed on: 31st March 2023
