Never use Churchill for your insurance

As I am about to buy a new car I contacted Churchill, with whom I currently have insurance to ask for a quote. I answered... As I am about to buy a new car I contacted Churchill, with whom I currently have insurance to ask for a quote. I answered all the questions only to be told that the underwriters had refused my request. I was told it was not age related and that no reason could be given . 'It was a confidential matter'. When I asked who the underwriters were I was given the same answer even though that information is freely available on the internet. I was left speechless. I shall now be changing the insurance policy for my house insurance and will never apply to Churchill again. I would never recommend Churchill to anyone for insurance. Read more Read less

    Sticking with the nodding dog!

    Been with Churchill 3 years now and although I've not had to claim, they provide a good level of cover for a reasonable price and...     Sensible insurer

    Fewer insurers were willing to provide home and contents cover due to our house being near a canal, but Churchill have always been able to...     A Polish lorry hit my car

    When a Polish lorry hit my car, Churchill took over and my car was repaired to an excellent standard. Also they provided a courtesy car....
