Always on the Front Foot!

Close Brothers fulfils all the basics expected of a good bank. Its website is clear and Its written communications exemplary. And it keeps to the rate promised (contrary to some building societies where they close offers sometimes before the mailing arrives). But, as an older depositor, what takes Close Brothers to another level is the unhurried guidance and help from customer services. They are patience personified. Reassurance

For me the first time putting my savings into something that was online only, with scary messages of all the fraud that goes on was slightly daunting. However from doing my research at the time Close Brothers came up trumps. And have continued to do so, with always keeping me informed straight away about where my money is. Easy to use website, a good range of account options and generally good interest rates

Excellent savings interest rates and excellent customer service

I was impressed with the simplicity of opening a savings account with Close Brothers a couple of years ago. I then wanted to ask a few questions before opening an ISA last year, and was delighted to speak with a real person, who helpfully answered all my questions immediately. On the basis of both their interest rates and their customer service, I've recommended Close Brothers to another family member, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else.
